7:45 – 8:00           Sign in at the Boston Community Center, located next to the Boston Fire Dept.  (Follow U.S.  62 W for approximately 12 miles to Boston, turn right before the railroad tracks) Breakfast provided by Jim Beam


8:00 – 9:00           Bernard Ice, Magistrate, will speak about the economics of the Boston area and the impact of the bourbon industry on this area.
Larry Schenck, Boston farmer, will address the agricultural involvement in the bourbon industry

9:00 – 9:15           Travel to the Jim Beam Distillery Boston plant, 1600 Lebanon Jct. Rd., Boston


9:15 – 11:30         Tour of Jim Beam distilling operation


11:30 – noon      Travel to Bardstown Mills, 204 W. Muir Ave., Bardstown


12:00 – 12:45      Tour of Bardstown Mills with Tommy Hurst


12:45 – 1:00     Travel to Mammy’s Restaurant, 114 N. Third St., Bardstown


1 – 2:00             Lunch at Mammy’s (limited menu will be provided) Sponsored by Heaven Hill


2 – 2:15                 Travel to Heaven Hill Distilleries, 1064 Loretto Rd., Bardstown


2:15 – 3:45           Tour of Heaven Hill Bottling Plant


3:45 – 4:00       Travel to the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History, located in Spalding Hall, 114 N. 5th St., Bardstown


4 – 5:00            Tour of the Oscar Getz museum, class meeting and evaluations

Please remember to wear your LNC shirts and name tags.  Also, you may want to carpool.  We will conclude the day at Spalding Hall so it would be convenient to meet at the St. Joseph Church parking lot.
